Hello friends and family,
Unfortunately we're trekking all over to Edmonton today, about 3 hours away, so I don't have much time! We get to go to the temple tonight though, so that's pretty cool!
The church is kind of a big deal in Cherry Grove. It's literally the centre of the hamlet.
One story I'll share quickly! Yesterday we went to print off some posters and cards for our fireside on Sunday at Staples. While we were there, there were two guys designing a business card for a company they want to start up! We got to talking to them and the one guy had turned his whole life around. He served a mission trip that took him all over the world! He was totally prepared to meet us. And you know what? Not all that much came from it. All we did was answer some questions he had about Mormonism and invited him to the fireside, but it was enough for now. It doesn't take all that much to share a gospel. Often just a conversation can plant a seed that can one day grow into a beautiful tree of spiritual knowledge...and you don't have to be a missionary to do that!
Today! When we put up posters for a fireside and English class, we get around town! Haha!
We helped out a sister with her cafe yesterday too, It's on the air force base so we aren't allowed to proselyte. But just being present, a lot of people asked her about us and she was able to do lots of missionary work! It was awesome! So you can do this too! There were a few awesome articles this month in the New Era church magazine that I'll share: "A Soul Crying Out" and "The Hardest Part of Being a Missionary"

OK.... My face when I realize my mission's half over... Geez! Too soon!
That's all I have time for... really!
Thanks for the love, I can feel it from here!
Love always,
Sister Baker. ❤️❤️
There's a UFO landing pad in St. Paul, where I see the chiropractor!
